Teaching and outreach projects.

The Schools of Samba of Brazil are an example to the world.  They unify different social groups, they form communities and they create a positive aim to collective excellence which is reached by working together.  Its only possible through social interaction wherein the main factor is learning or aiming to improve without discrimination.  Based on this distinctively Brazilian culture, we have created some projects that can be applied in several areas, whether it is in companies, schools or at festival events in the UK.

For example:

CORPORATE GAMES AND TEAM BUILDING: we deliver unique, creative events and energy filled, fun and innovative team building activities for firms with immediate results.  Workshops are both effective and memorable, with the challenge of the real taste of a different culture.  Brazilian drumming is used to achieve more self reliant, integrated, decisive and productive employees, on the basis of the importance of breaking down personal barriers, listening and working together.  The challenge of a range of different Samba percussion instruments is used during the exercise.

EDUCATION  AND SCHOOLS curriculums can be complemented and creatively enhanced by Boudica teaching workshops in drumming, costume and dance.   We can design and teach themed Mini Carnivals in the authentic Brazilian Samba tradition for all ages of children.  This can have multiple benefits: as well as being an inspiring and memorable event uniting different disciplines together in a cross curricular, collective project, it's a direct authentic contact with another culture and language.
