Boudica School of Samba can open the door to the magic of the most famous of Brazilian percussion rhythms, the Samba. What sets Boudica apart from other samba bands is authenticity and the guidance of a true specialist in Samba from Rio de Janeiro. Drumming workshops are an opportunity to work together as a team, to offer you a way to understand a different culture and have new experiences in your life as well as leading you to perform at Festivals and public events. It's not necessary to have any previous experience of music or percussion, or to have your own drums or instruments. Boudica supplies the best quality authentic Samba instruments possible, identical to those used by the top Schools of Samba in Brazil. |
Boudica workshops are guided by an ex director of Samba from Estacio de Sa Samba School who has a wide experience of much of the visual aspects of Samba and Rio style Carnival shows. He has the highest dedication and expertise to teach the authentic original rhythms of Brazilian Samba first hand. Anyone is welcome to participate in Boudica's weekly Samba workshops. They are open to the public, regardless of previous experience, age, sex, nationality, disability or musical taste, and they have a friendly, family atmosphere. The directors of Boudica are there from 8.00pm in the bar to start the drumming workshop at 8.30pm. |
